Sue:
Hi, I’m Sue White, and this is my husband, Bob. And we’ve been seeking financial advice from Tony Ross at Velocity for about 18 months.

Bob:
Our challenges when we first met Tony, were we had a number of different pensions, basically, because Sue has been working full time, and I’ve had a number of different jobs over the years. Tony was able to assure us of our financial security going forwards and make the whole process a lot less complicated.

Sue
Other than his choice of football team, Tony is a very wise person. I think he really listens to what you are saying, whereas other people we dealt with, we felt they were already on their plan, and that they didn’t really relate it to you personally. So that’s why we’ve stayed with Tony.

Bob
Working with Tony and the team at Velocity takes away a lot of the stress about future financial management. We have quarterly reviews with Tony, we amend things slightly, sometimes depending on the situation. But basically, a lot of the hassle and stress of financial management is taken off our shoulders.

Sue
I always feel working with Tony that I’ve got 100% confidence that he’s looking after us. I wouldn’t feel as confident about my finances without Tony, he actually makes me want to spend money. He says, “right, what holidays have you got booked?”. I think before Tony was on the scene, I was being very careful with money and always feeling that I haven’t got enough to do things, whereas now I’m quietly confident to know that I can do it.

Three words to describe Tony and the team would be “professional“, “approachable” and “confident“.

Sue
I’m not financially minded at all so the best thing about working with Velocity is I feel that I can ask silly questions and get away with it. Tony is approachable and will put it in layman’s terms.

Bob
Tony and the team at Velocity are very approachable, and that’s made even better by the fact that they have regular socials with their clients. So, we’re building up quite a friendly community that’s facilitated by the Velocity team.

I would highly recommend Velocity because I feel that I could always approach them. I feel that if I’ve got any issues, I could just get on the phone and I know they would come back immediately.
